Meet Karen
After graduating from Millikin University (during the days of floppy disks and word processors) I began teaching 3rd grade. I spent 11 years in third grade, 8 years teaching 2nd grade, and 5 years teaching first grade. I am now back to teaching 3rd grade and loving every minute. I have 2 children. My son just graduated from Illinois State University this past spring and my daughter is a junior at ISU (Go Redbirds!) Both of my children graduated from Maroa-Forsyth High School. We have always loved being a part of the Maroa-Forsyth community and it has been a great place to raise our family.
