Meet Christopher
Mr. Weisenborn is thrilled to be the Middle School/High School Choral Director for the Maroa-Forsyth School District! Mr. Weisenborn holds a Masters Degree from Illinois State University and a Bachelors Degree from Millikin University, both in Music Education. As an active pianist and music director, Mr. Weisenborn is sought after to play or direct many community and other theatre productions.
Mr. Weisenborn has served as the Asst. Musical Director for The Little Theatre on the Square in Sullivan, IL (Summers 2008, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018)—playing keyboard in the main stage productions, and also served as the Musical Director for the Theatre for Young Audiences. Mr. Weisenborn also served as the Director of the Decatur Park Singers from 2011-2013.
He is the current District V Sr. Choir Rep for the Illinois Music Educators Association.
