2023-2024 will be my 10th year teaching 10th year at Maroa-Forsyth Grade School. I have had the pleasure of being the RTI specialist, 3rd grade teacher, and now am in my 2nd year of 4th grade. I thoroughly enjoy playing a part in the growth and education of our students at Maroa-Forsyth. Prior to becoming a teacher, I received a Bachelor of Finance from Western Illinois University and spent 17 years in the business/sales industry. In 2012, I received my Masters of Teaching from Greenville Christian College.
My family has lived in Forsyth since 2004. After serving the elderly in our community for almost 30 years, she recently began a new career as the C.O.O of Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois. We have a daughter, Alex, and a son, Noah. Alex graduated from Maroa-Forsyth in 2017 and is currently a 5th grade teacher in Texas. Noah will be a junior at MFHS and enjoys taking part in soccer, football, and the musicals. We are beyond blessed and grateful to be part of such an amazing community.
Each day is a great day to learn something new.
